These were delicious and easy to make! I decided to add cherry pie filling to half of the dish since I love cherries and thought it would be good and I was right and it tasted like creamy cherry pie! Yummy! I did have to bake it a little longer than 20 minutes because the cherry side took a little longer! I bought this spring plate just for this recipe and went back the next day to buy the matching bowl and the entire collection was sold out so I ended up buying the placemat! Next time I won't think about it and I'll just buy it! :) Thanks Mom_Jill for a wonderful recipe!

  • 2 refrigerated tubes of crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 oz pkgs) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • cherry pie filling (my addition, on half)

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Lay 1 pkg crescent rolls in dish and push seams together.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Spread on top of crescent rolls. (This is where I added cherry pie filling)
  • Lay 2nd roll of crescent rolls on top, pushing seams together. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Bake for 20 min or until golden brown.
  • Cool then cut into squares and refrigerate.
