CHEESY CHILI PIE

Ingredients

  • Masa Harina Crust
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 Quaker Masa Harina
  • Chili Filling
  • 1 can(15oz) chili
  • 1 can(8oz)tomato sauce
  • 1 can(7oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/2 cup ripe olive slices
  • 1/3 cup quaker Masa Harina
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 cup(4oz) shredded sharp cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese

Directions

  • Masa Harina Crust
  • Combine all ingredients in 9-inch pie plate; mix well.
  • Press dough evenly onto bottom and sides of pie plate.
  • Chili
  • Combine all ingredients expect cheese. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375F. 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle on cheese. Bake about 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with olive halves. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
