BackstoryOne of my daughter's favorites, so easy and so good! I freeze half the ground beef and sausage for the next time, but this recipe only serves four. Can be easily doubled if you are serving more people.
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb italian sausage (casing removed)
- 16 oz spaghetti sauce
- 14.5 oz italian style tomatoes
- 9 oz fresh refridgerated tortellini
- 1 cup shredded mozerella
- 1/2 cup cheddar
- Crumble ground beef and sausage in large skillet. Cook and drain. Combine meat, spaghetti sauce and tomatoes in slow cooker. Cover, cook on low 7 - 8 hours. Stir in tortellini and cheeses, cover and cook 15 more minutes on low or until tortellini is tender.
