CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt&pepper

Directions

  • Grease 13x9 baking dish and preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Peel and thinly slice potatoes
  • Layer potatoes and shredded cheese
  • Make sauce by melting butter, sifting in flour, and gradually adding milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste and pour over potato casserole
  • Bake in oven for approx 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender
