1-1/4 cups flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tspn bakin powder
1/4 tspn salt
3/4 cup gran. sugar
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 cup flaked or shredded coconut(I didn't add)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Pre-heat oven to 350°f.
Cut butter into 1 cup flour & the powdered sugar till it looks like breadcrumbs.
Press in the bottom of an ungreased 11 x 7 baking tin.
Bake 10 mins.
Combine rest of flour, b. powder, salt & gran. sugar.
Add eggs & stir well.
Fold in cherries, coconut & nuts & spread evenly over baked crust.
Bake 20 mins till golden brown.
Cool in pan.
Cuts into 44 cookies.
