- 1 stick of butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large can of sour cherries, drained
- Place melted butter into a deep baking dish. In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Pour over butter, do not stir. Put cherries on top of batter, do not stir. Bake for 45 min to an hour
