CHICKEN & SHRIMP CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. raw converted rice
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 1/2 - 3 c. chicken broth
  • 3 - 4 c. cooked chicken, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1/4 lb. button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 lb. shelled & de-veined shrimp
  • 8 green onions, chopped
  • 2/3 c. slivered almonds

Directions

  • Mix rice with melted butter in crockpot, stirring to coat the rice thoroughly. Add all of the remaining ingredients, except the onions & almonds. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs or on high 4-5 hrs. Sprinkle almonds & green onions over the top before serving.
