CHICKEN ALFREDO PARMIGIANO

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken halves
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup of italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 jar of creamy alfredo sauce
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 4oz mozzarella cheese, thickly sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1lb of your favorite pasta (i prefer angel hair or fettucini)

Directions

  • 1. preheat oven at 400 F
  • 2. mix bread crumbs and paprika
  • 3. dip chicken in egg then in bread crum mixture
  • 4. in 13x9 in dish arrange chicken
  • 5. bake for 20 minutes
  • 6. after baking evenly pour 1 cup of alfredo sauce over chicken; then top with tomato and cheeses
  • 7. bake another 10 minutes
  • 8. meanwhile boil large pot of lightly salted water; cook pasta. drain. i usually pour remaining alfredo sauce from jar into pasta
  • 9. serve and enjoy
