CHICKEN IN SAUCE

- 2 lbs chicken pieces, bone-in or boneless
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp red pepper paste
- 5 tbsp sugar, or honey
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 1/2 c chopped onions
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- pepper to taste
- Season chicken w/soy sauce, pepper, garlic, and ginger; let stand for 1 hr. Brown chicken in pan on both sides to remove fat, drain. Add rest of ingredients and simmer until chicken is cooked through.
- Serve over rice.
NotesA spicy dish, again. My family likes spice, my six year old couldn't get enough.
