CHICKEN PAPRIKAS

Ingredients

  • Chicken
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Pam Spray
  • 1 t. paprika
  • 4 to 5 lbs chicken w/o skin
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 pt. low fat sour cream
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 to 2 T. flour (to thicken)
  • dumplings
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. salt

Directions

  • Chicken Paprikas:
  • Brown onions in Pam cooking spray. Add seasoning and chicken. Brown 10
  • min. add water. Cover and simmer slowly til tender. Remove chicken. Add
  • low fat sour cream to drippings. Mix well. Mix flour w/ a little cold
  • water. Add to thicken. Add dumplings and chicken.
  • DUMPLINGS:
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 T. salt
  • Mix. Scrape bits of dough from a plate into boiling water. Cook 15 min.
  • Drain.
