- 1 cut up fryer chicken
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 tbs flour
- Dumplings or rice
DIRECTIONS
Brown chicken in large pan with onion
Add paprika, salt, garlic powder and water
Simmer 1 hour or until tender, adding more hot water if needed
Mix half and half with flour
Add to chicken and simmer 10 minutes
Pour over dumplings or rice
