- 1 can chickpeas, drained
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tsp kosher rock salt
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 2 tsp dried chives
- about 1/3 ( no more than) cup unbleached white whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp hemp oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce- low sodium
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- olive oil for frying up.
- mash chickpeas up with fork in medium bowl, add garlic and spices. mix and mash some more. Place flour in slowly and mix around.. using your hands form into balls, it may help to keep your hands wet when rolling these up. Place in medium skillet with warmed olive oil on medium high, cook each side about 2 minutes each. turn off heat and cover while making the dressing using the hemp oil, lemon juice and soy sauce.
- Serve with favorite rice.. Like Jasmine and pour dressing on rice and chickpea balls.
