Why I Love This Recipe

This is my Dads favorite dish, He would always ask my mom to make for him every Saturday morning. We always enjoyed this breakfast. Its easy and Delicious!!


Ingredients You'll Need

2 Roman tomato
6 large jalapenos
1/4 Onion sliced
8 Tortilla
3 tbs Chicken flavor bouillon
1/3 cup vegetable oil


Directions

For Chilaquiles


1. Get a sauce pan add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil, add the tomato and jalapeños cook for 3-4 mins until tomatoes have soften.


2. Start cutting the tortillas into 8 pieces, get a skillet and add 1/3 cup vegetable oil on medium high heat. Add the cut up tortillas cook for 1-2 min on each side until they are golden brown.


3. In another sauce pan add 1 tbs olive oil and add the sliced onion cook for 1-2 mins, add the tortilla pieces and the blended sauce onto on medium high heat add the 3 tbs of chicken flavor bouillon let it boil add top and lower the heat and let it simmer and cook for 5-7 min. you can top with cheese and sour cream!!


Sunny side up egg


In a skillet add 1/3 cup oil on medium high heat, crack the egg and let it cook for 1-3 mins. remove and top onto the chilaquiles.
