1 cup grated extra-sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
8 slices white bread, crusts removed
Blend cheddar cheese with butter, chili powder and cumin.
Toast 1 side of bread.
Spread with cheese mixture.
Cut each slice into 4 fingers.
Arrange on cookie sheet.
Broil just until golden, watching carefully to avoid burning.
