  • 1 bag cabbage, shredded
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 jar sesame seeds
  • 2 pkg chicken top ramen
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • flavor packets from top ramen


  • Heat oven to 350° f. Spread Almonds and sesame seeds out on a cookie sheet and brown in oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
  • Combine cabbage, green onions, browned almonds and sesame seeds and broken apart ramen noodles in a serving bowl.
  • Combine sugar, rice vinegar, vegetable oil, pepper and flavor packets from chicken top ramen. Mix thoroughly. Pour over salad just prior to serving.
