- 2 T sugar
- 3 T vinegar
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 c oil
- 1 t salt
- Season packet from Ramen noodles
- 1 head cabbage - chopped
- 2 T onion
- 1 pkg chicken oriental Ramen noodles
- 3 T sesame seeds
- 1/2 c slivered almonds
- Mix all dressing ingredients shake well and chill for at least 2 hours to meld flavors. Brown sesame seeds and almonds under broiler - watch closely they burn easily. Break up Ramen noodles and mix all salad ingredients together. Toss with dressing and noodles.
NotesI don't know where this recipe orginated but it seems to show up at every potluck I've been to.
