- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cups baking cocoa (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, then add the wet ingredients.
- Don't use a mixer, still using the wooden spoon, mix until everything is blended (it will be pretty thick). Don't overbeat it though. Spread the mixture into a greased 9"x13" baking pan. Bake for about 25 minutes. Move the pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
