Chocolate-Buttermilk Frosting

Goes with my Chocolate-Buttermilk Brownies recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • Servings: Covers 1 cake
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    •

DIRECTIONS

In a saucepan combine the first 3 ingredients and bring to boiling.


Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.


Beat until smooth.


Pour over warm cake.
