CHOCOLATE-BUTTERMILK FROSTING

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  • In a saucepan combine the first 3 ingredients and bring to boiling.
  • Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Pour over warm cake.
