Chocolate Cheesecake II
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk - not evaporated
2 cups (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips (see note)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 300ºF. Combine butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar; press on bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 5 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool to room temperature. Chill thoroughly. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
Note: 8 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate may be substituted for
