CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

  • Servings: 3-4 dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 1/2 c flour
  • chocolate chips to taste

Directions

  • Cream butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Chill in the refrigerator overnight (this step is optional, but recommended)
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown. (For a pan cookie, 20-25 minutes)
