Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup butter (softened)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 T vanilla
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 1/2 c flour
chocolate chips to taste
Cream butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
Chill in the refrigerator overnight (this step is optional, but recommended)
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 for 10-13 minutes or until golden brown. (For a pan cookie, 20-25 minutes)
