Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1 pkg (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
2 1/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 pkg (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chunks
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans


Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 F


Lightly grease two 12-inch pizza pans


In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.


Add the eggs


Beat at high speed until fluffy.


In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt


Add to the creamed mixture


Mix until the dough is stiff


Stir in the chocolate chunks and the walnuts


Divide the dough in half


Press each half evenly into a prepared pan


Press the top down with a fork dipped in water


Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until light brown around the edges and firm in the center


Cool on a wire rack
