Chocolate Crinkle Top Cookies
2 cups (12 oz) chocolate chips, divided
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
6 T margarine (or butter), softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Microwave 1 cup chocolate chips until melted and cool. Cream sugar, butter, and vanilla; stir in melted chocolate and eggs.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Gradually blend in chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining chocolate chips. Cover dough and chill until firm.
Shape into 1 1/2" balls and roll in powdered sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 10-15 minutes at 350°. Cool for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks and cool completely.
