CHOCOLATE CRUNCH BARS

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup flour
  • ½ cup pecans
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 pkg chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cup rice Krispies

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Stir together flour, nuts, cocoa, baking powder, salt.
  • Stir into egg mixture.
  • Spread into 13x9 pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 15-20 min.
  • Sprinkle marshmallows evenly on top.
  • Bake 5 min more, cool.
  • In saucepan, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter. Add cereal and spread mixture on top of cooled bars.
  • Chill and store in fridge.
