Chocolate Ice Box Cake

4 packages Bakers German Chocolate
8 eggs
4 tbsp powdered sugar
4 tbsp boiling water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 lb. lady fingers

Half lady fingers and line a 12" pan with the lady fingers.

Custard filling - separate the eggs.

Melt chocolate in top of a double boiler, Stir chocolate till smooth. Add powder sugar gradually stirring till fairly smooth. Then add the water. Stir till smooth.

Add well beaten egg yolks. Stir till smooth.

Beat egg whites till soft peak. Fold into chocolate mixture. Add vanilla and stir till smooth. Keep mixture warm.

Put a layer of chocolate mixture on top of the lady fingers. Add another layer of lady fingers.

Repeat till all the chocolate mixture is used up, end with chocolate on top.

Refrigerate 24 hrs before eating. Enjoy.
