CHOCOLATE MINT BARS

Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 squares unsweetened choc
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • frosting:
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3 c. powdered sugar
  • 2-4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

Directions

  • melt margarine and chocolate. cool.
  • add eggs and beat well. add rest of ingredients and beat. put in greased 9x13 pan. bake 350 for 30-35 min.
  • cream margerine and half of sugar. add milk, flavoring, and rest of sugar. tint frosting any cool you want with food coloring. spread on bars
  • melt 2 sq. unsweetened choc and 2 tsp margarine and put on frosting
