Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients

2 sticks Butter
1/2 cup crisco
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 cup sweet milk
3 cups ckae flour
5 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla


Cream butter, Crisco, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Combine flour cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Sift. Add alternately with milk to butter mixture starting and ending with flour. After blending beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a 10 inch tube pan, greased and floured. Place in cold oven turn to 300 degreese and bake 2 hours.
