Chocolate Rice Crispy Squares
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 cup sugar
250 grams miniature marshmallows -- (1 bag)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
In large saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Stir in cocoa and sugar. Add marshmallows, stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and cereal until well combined. Press into greased 8 x 8-inch square pan. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
In large microwaveable bowl, microwave butter on HIGH about 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in cocoa and sugar. Add marshmallows. Microwave 2-3 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring once half way through. Proceed as above.
