CHOCOLATE TOP CUSTARD TOPPING

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 egg whites
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 square melted unsweet chocolate

Directions

  • Beat the egg whites and a dash of salt until frothy.
  • Beat in the powdered sugar a little at a time until stiff peaks form
  • Fold in the melted chocolate
  • Drop in peaks on top of the custard
  • Chill
