Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

Crust:
1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
Filling:
3 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semisweet chocolate, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 eggs
whipped cream for garnish, optional
chocolate curls for garnish, optional


Directions

Combine all crust ingredients and press firmly on the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Set aside. For filling, beat cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in milk until smooth. Add chocolate and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs and mix only until blended. Pour into crust. Bake at 300ºF for about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until center is set. Cool, then refrigerate. If desired, garnish with whipped cream and chocolate curls. Store in the refrigerator.
