CHOCOLATE SOUR CREAM FROSTING

Ingredients

  • • 3 c powdered sugar
  • • 1/4 c sour cream
  • • 1/4 c butter
  • • 3 T milk
  • • 1 t vanilla
  • • 3 oz (squares) unsweetened chocolate, melted & cooled

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients at a low speed until combined. Beat on higher speed until creamy (frosting will lighten in color).
  • Makes enough for a 2-layer round cake, including filling.

Notes

The sour cream adds a tang that tastes wonderful with the chocolate. I suggest serving it on a chocolate sour cream cake, if possible.
