Chow Mein Casserole
1 - 8oz pkg thin noodles, cooked
3/4 cup black olives, sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/4 cup milk
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chow mein noodles
Combine first 4 ingredents and mix mell.
Saute onion in butter til tender; add chicken
Alternate layers of noodle mixture, chicken mixture, cheese and parsley in a greased 2 quart casserole until all are used.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
Sprinkle with almonds and chow mein noodles and retun to oven for another 20 minutes.
