CHOWDER

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, cut up and cooked
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • salt and pepper (white pepper is preferred)
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk
  • Optional Additions:
  • cooked whitefish or
  • 1 can baby clams

Directions

  • In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, fry onions in butter until slightly browned. Add the rest of the ingredients and heat through, DO NOT BOIL.
