I choose this recipe from McCall's cooking book because it stuck out more than all the other recipes and I want other to try how good they are.

Ingredients You'll Need

2⅔ cups of sifted all purpose flour (Homogeneous)
1 teaspoon baking soda (Pure substance)(NaHCO3)
½ teaspoon salt (Pure substance)(NaCI)
1¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (Homogeneous)
½ teaspoon ground ginger (Homogeneous)
½ cup butter (Homogeneous)
¾ cup granulated sugar (Pure substance)(C12H22011)
2 eggs (Heterogeneous)
⅔ cup light molasses (Homogeneous)
½ cup milk (Homogeneous)
Ginger-Cream Filling
½ cup butter (Homogeneous)
3 cups confectioners sugar (Pure substance)(C12H22011)
1¼ teaspoon ground ginger (Homogeneous)
¼ cup light molasses (Homogeneous)
2 or 3 tablespoons milk (Homogeneous)


- Mix with beater sugar, butter, molasses, milk, and egg

- Stir flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and salt

- Then mix together in a mixing bowl

- Put drops on cookie dough on a baking sheet

- Then put them in the fridge for 1 hour

- Then put in the oven for 10 minutes

- Mix the topping while the cookies bake

- Next stir all until mixed together butter, sugar, ginger, molasses, and milk.

-Finally take out cookies and put a spoon full of topping on each cookies
