Why I Love This Recipe

We have had this recipe for over thirty years and counting. It has seemed to satisfy everyone who has eaten it. It is a well suggested dinner item and will make your tastebuds dance and begging for more. Chemistry information: It darkens on the bottom and the smell of the cooked Mac and Cheese are both clues that there are chemical changes. It heats up in the oven and bubbles because water is boiling which are both physical changes. The homogeneous mixtures and one of the heterogeneous mixtures are in the ingredients list. A pure substance in my recipe is water (H2O). Another heterogeneous mixture is the final product because you can see macaroni and breadcrumbs and cheese.

Ingredients You'll Need

Bread crumbs Seasoned varies to taste Heterogenous mixture
6 cups of milk Homogeneous Mixture
6 tablespoons of butter Homogeneous mixture
6 tablespoons flour all purpose Homogeneous mixture
Macaroni Homogeneous Mixture
Cheddar cheese Homogeneous Mixture


Directions

Bring butter and milk to a rolling boil add flour stir until smooth


Add cheese until completely melted and slowly bubbling consistency


Cook 2.5 to 3 lbs of macaroni in water and boil till firm texture


Mix macaroni and cheese sauce together


Top of with bread crumbs


Bake at 375 degrees 45-60 minutes


Remove let it sit for 5 minutes then eat
