Why I Love This Recipe

Easy to make and intensely flavored, this is equally at home on a stack of pancakes or a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month

Ingredients You'll Need

2 cups fresh or frozen (not thawed) blueberries
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon freshly grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice


Directions

Stir together blueberries, honey, lemon zest and juice in a medium saucepan.


Bring to a boil; reduce heat to maintain a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes.


Let cool for 10 minutes; serve warm.
