Coffee Icebox Pie
2 T. butter
1 pkg. (12 oz) chocolate chips
2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1 quart softened coffee ice cream
Shaved unsweetened chocolate
Melt butter and chocolate chips in top of double boiler.
Remove form heat and fold in Rice Krispies. Spread mixture evenly over a deep nine inch pie plate to make a crust.
Chill. spread ice cream in prepared crust. Freeze six hours.
Remove from freezer and shave unsweetened chocolate over top a few minutes before cutting. Must prepare ahead, must freeze.
