COFFEE MILANO

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup regular OR decaf coffee
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4 Cups water
  • slightly beaten egg white
  • 1/3 C. granulated sugar
  • Galiano
  • Coffee Liqueur
  • Fresh Whipped Cream

Directions

  • Place 1/2 cup regular or decaf coffee in basket of coffeemaker, sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon over top. Using 4 cups water, prepare coffee. Dip rims of 5 small brandy snifters (or small glass heat resistant glasses) in slightly beaten egg white, then in sugar. Add 1 Tablespoon Galiano and 2 teaspoons coffee liqueur to each snifter. Pour in 1/2 cup hot coffee to each snifter. Top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.

Notes

My sister-in-law had received this recipe from one of her friends. This is a hot coffee specialty drink with a mixture of liqueurs served in a sugar rimmed glass and topped off with homemade whipped cream. A perfect ending to a dinner party for your favorite friends and family.
