Compound dill butter
1 stick salted butter - softened
1/4 c fresh dill
strip dill "fronds" and discard stems, coarsely chop dill
add butter, mixing well.
saran wrap, roll and twist ends - refrigerate or freeze for later use
or these are really cute put into molds chilled, and you are now as fancy as the poshest restaurants!

I love flavored butters - always have - and now that I am growing my own herbs I have found it is so much fun to make and can really come in handy for cooking, or just jazzing up a slice of bread
