Cornbread and Sausage Stuffing

Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter
1 cup each of onion and celery, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1 1/2 teaspoons thyme leaves
1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 cups cooked and crumbled cornbread
1/2 pound cooked sausage, crumbled
1 can chicken broth


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, melt butter. Add onion, celery and bell pepper; saute 5 minutes. Stir in poultry seasoning, thyme and garlic powder. Combine corn bread, vegetable mixture and sausage. Add broth, toss gently. Spoon into 13x9" baking dish. Bake 30-35 minutes.
