Why I Love This Recipe

I guess this one came from the Irish side of my family but no one specifically said which relative it came from. I personally like the Kielbasa variation best :)

Ingredients You'll Need

Corned beef, Bone in ham or Kielbasa (1 lb kielbasa for each person eating 1/4rd)
Large stock pot
5 Yellow cooking onions peeled and 1/4rd
1 large head of cabbage core removed and cut in 1/4's
2 potatoes for each person eating peeled and 1/4rd
2 Carrots for each person eating peeled and cut in bite size chunks
*Options: 1 turnip each person eating peeled and 1/4rd, Cauliflour, Broccoli, few peeled cloves of Garlic

Directions

Cook the meat you choose in large stock pot filled w/ water

Remove meat when its done and set aside

Put all cut up veggies in at the same time make sure they're all covered w/water

Cook till veggies are tender cut and serve meat w/each plate full of veggies and serve w/ketchup for those that like it w/ ketchup (we all do!)

*Note: When I'm only cooking for a few I cook the Kielbasa w/the veggies.
