Ingredients

  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1/8 cup butter
  • 1/8 cup shortening
  • 2/3 to 3/4 cup buttermilk

Directions

  • cut butter, shortening, and flour until flour has a crumbled appearance.
  • Add buttermilk.
  • I usually mix by hand until dough forms.
  • Roll out dough, cut into biscuit form and cook in 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown on top.
