Cranberry Cake With Hot Butter Sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 cups fresh cranberries
Hot butter sauce
Cream butter and sugar.Beat in vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternately with milk.
Fold in cranberries.
Pour into greased, floured 13x9 cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes.
Serve hot butter sauce over each cake serving.
