CRANBERRY OLIVE TAPENADE

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Spanish olives, diced
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 5 oz. cream cheese spread, softened
  • 1 Tbls. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 loaf Italian bread or baguette, sliced thin and toasted

Directions

  • Blend cream cheese, garlic, oregano, thyme, and pepper until well combined and set aside
  • Drizzle olives with oil and season with salt
  • Toss with walnuts and cranberries
  • Spread cheese mixture on toasted bread and top with a spoonful of tapenade

Notes

While tat may sound like an unusual combination, it is actually a delicious appetizer for a party!
