CRANBERRY-ORANGE BREAD

Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1 1/2 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 c. applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 t. orange peel (zested)
  • 1 1/2 c. cranberries, chopped (in a food processor)

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients, and bake in a greased loaf pan at 350, for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Notes

This is one of my Christmas traditions, but it's good all year round!!
