Why I Love This Recipe


Ingredients You'll Need

1-1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs - about 36 wafers
1/4 cups sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
4 pkgs. (8 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
4 eggs
1/4 cup lemon juice
1-1/2 cups fresh cranberries, finely chopped
1 teaspoon grated orange peel


Directions

Preheat oven to 300ºF. Combine cookie crumbs, sugar and butter; press firmly onto bottom of 9-in. springform pan. Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in condensed milk until smooth. Beat in eggs and lemon juice. Stir in cranberries and orange peel. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until center is set. Cool completely and chill.
