My stepmom fixes this for us when we are visiting. She makes it the night before and the refrigerates it overnight. She finally shared the recipe. I also spray my pan with non-stick spray because the first time I made them they were sticking.

Another note: I found if you stretch the cresent roll dough a bit before putting on top it does better without making a mess of the filling.

Cut into big triangles and serve!


  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 8 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar


  • Layer 1 can of crescent rolls on the bottom of 13" x 9" pan.
  • Beat together remaining ingredients; pour over rolls.
  • Top with the other can of crescent rolls and bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Icing
  • Mix 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Milk to thin to a medium consistency
  • Pour over danish when removed from the oven.
