CREAM OF POTATO SOUP

Ingredients

  • 3 Lbs Potatoes Cubed
  • 1 Large Onion Chopped
  • Several Stalks Celery Chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Flour, Mix And Add To Potatoes (With Some Retained Water)
  • Add 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Pint Half And Half
  • 1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Salt And Pepper
  • Meat If Desired (Ham Sausage Smoked Turkey)
  • Garnish: Grated Cheddar, Bacon, Green Onions and or Croutons

Directions

  • Cream Of Potato Soup
  • Ingredients:
  • 3 Lbs Potatoes Cubed
  • 1 Large Onion Chopped
  • Several Stalks Celery Chopped
  • Boil 1 Hour (Very Tender)
  • Ladle Off Water And Save 1/2 Cup
  • Add 3 Tbsp Flour, Mix And Add To Potatoes (With Some Retained Water)
  • Add 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Pint Half And Half
  • 1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Simmer 30 Minutes
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste
  • Add Meat If Desired
  • (Ham Sausage Smoked Turkey)
  • Mash Or Puree Potato Mixture For Smoother Soup
  • Garnish with: Grated Cheddar, Bacon, Green Onions and or Croutons
