> Cream of Wheat Bread
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup uncooked cream of wheat
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- Mix well and add:
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cooking oil
DIRECTIONS
Stir gently and do not overbeat. Grease pan and bake 400
degrees until top is golden brown. this is crisp and crunchy.
(better than corn bread)
Note: I've made in muffin tin. It's a great breakfast bread. It kind of tastes like a sugar cookie. Good fresh out of the oven, and yes, kinda like cornbread as far as texture.

I baked only once and was having problem with my oven so I dont remember how long I baked it but I baked it until the top was golden brown. and did the skewer test . could be 30 minutes or so- not sure

I have tried with cream of wheat - you could try with coco wheat and let me know if it turns out ok - so that i could add a note to the recipe for others who would like to make the way you make
