- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can condensed broccoli cheese soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese, plus more to top
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- fresh ground black pepper
- Prepare rice according to package directions. Combine cooked rice, milk, soup, cheese, onion salt and paprika in a saucepan. Stir well. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until cheese has melted and mixture reaches desired consistency. Top with fresh ground black pepper and additional shredded or crumbled cheddar cheese.
NotesI made this dish on a whim on day. Though I prefer brown rice, you could easily swap for white or a wild rice blend based on your tastes. This is very similar to a packaged dinner you could buy at the store, but tastes so much better.
