CREAMY TOMATO SOUP

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup nondairy margarine
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups tomato juice or V8
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cups unsweetened nondairy milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Melt margarine in a large saucepan. Whisk in flour until smooth
  • add tomato juice and stir until thickened.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Heat throughly and serve
